                                    ETCHED STATIC CLING DECAL DIRECTIONS

 

Clean hands thoroughly to prevent oil and dirt from accumulating on the etched decal.  Clean surface thoroughly before applying decal.

1.  Spray clean surface with glass cleaner before adhering etching.  A coat of moisture is required between surface and decoration to prevent any bubbles from drying under decoration.

2.  Peel the decal from the backing paper and position it on the clean moist surface and smooth out all bubbles with your hands.  For best results, use a flat soft edged squeegee to remove the air pockets.  Careful to prevent scratching decoration surface with sharp edges.

3.  Place the side of decal that is on the paper onto the surface.  The other side of the decal WILL NOT ADHERE.  IT IS SUGGESTED TO KEEP THE BACKING PAPER.  IF YOU NEED TO TAKE DOWN YOUR DECAL, PLACE IT BACK ON THE PAPER.  (shinny side)    IT PROTECTS THE DECAL.

4.  NEVER INSTALL ON DRY SURFACE. 

5.  Wipe up excess cleaner with clean cloth.  If air bubbles remain between decal and surface peel off and reapply.  Moisture between etching and surface will dry up within 24 hours. 

6.  For surfaces which glass cleaner can not be used, substitute with slightly soapy water.

The decals are reusable, removable static cling decals.  They work well in the home or office on sliding doors, glass doors, windows, shower doors, mirrors, RVs, showcase cabinets, among other glass or mirror surfaces.

A customer bought A 20" X 30" Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, and placed it UNDER a glass coffee table.  They still get many compliments!
